About Felicity

Felicity Morris completed her Masters Degree (cum laude) in Speech and Language Therapy in 2002 after qualifying as a Speech and Language Therapist and Audiologist (dual qualification, also cum laude) in 2000, both at the University of Pretoria, South Africa.

She worked in London for 7 years, where she gained invaluable experience working within specialist fields such as Hearing Impairment and in Child Development Centres for children with complex needs. She functioned as part of a multidisciplinary team, and worked in a broad range of settings from homes to clinics and schools where she worked closely with parents and teachers. She then returned to South Africa where she continues her career, as a private Paediatric Speech and Language Therapist, while journeying along the path of motherhood with three children of her own – possibly the greatest training ground for any therapist!

She is a registered member of the Health Professions Council of South Africa (HPCSA) and has the relevant practice number with the Board of Healthcare Funders of Southern Africa.

With genuine empathy for fellow parents and a passion for helping children thrive, she has founded Together Therapy, an online initiative to inspire and empower parents (and anyone working with young children) to set children up to flourish and grow into their potential.
